Lakeside Clinic · booking appAtelier
The client wants their booking app refreshed. Figma is linked. Where do we start?
Effort: high · existing product, judgment-heavy
I audited the file before proposing anything. The screens are polished, but the foundations underneath were skipped:
  • ResearchNo user research. The three personas have no source.
  • TestingThe booking flow was never tested with real users.
  • WCAG AA3 of 41 color pairs fail contrast (computed).
Recommendation: refine, not redesign. Five interviews and a quick test of the booking flow before touching more screens.
Your call: confirm refine vs. redesign with the client and book the interviews. I'll draft the screener and the guide next.

Here is how
Atelier
works

Diagnose

Point it at a Figma file, a live site or screenshots. It finds what was skipped and ranks every issue by severity.

Plan the effort

Before each task it tells you how much thinking it needs and where it runs best: Claude, Cowork or Claude Code.

Do the heavy lifting

Research synthesis, accessibility reports, design system audits, dev specs. With sourced evidence and measured checks.

Hand you the decisions

Every task ends with what you need to check, decide or sign off. Atelier proposes; you choose.

Ship it clean

A handoff developers can build from, then design QA in Claude Code against the approved design.

Real users.
Real evidence.

Interviews run with real people. Atelier anonymizes transcripts, checks every quote word for word and ties every theme to the participants behind it. Anything unsourced is labelled as an assumption, never a finding.

How research works

Your taste,
on record

Atelier learns your studio's sensibility from the work you share, then applies it to every direction it proposes. Output that looks like you, not like the average of the internet.

Questions,
answered

Is Atelier a plugin or a connector?

Both. In Claude and the desktop app it's a connector: paste your Atelier link in Settings → Connectors. In Claude Code it's a plugin you install with one command. Same account, same projects.

Does it replace a designer?

No. It does the heavy lifting, from drafts and synthesis to audits and specs, and tells you exactly what you need to check, decide or sign off.

Does it work with Figma?

Yes. It works alongside Figma's Claude connector to read your files, and adds the audits, reports and handoff on top.

Can I trust AI with user research?

Interviews run with real people. Atelier anonymizes transcripts, checks every quote word for word, and labels anything unsourced as an assumption. Simulated users are never presented as findings.

How is accessibility checked?

Contrast is computed against WCAG 2.2 AA thresholds: 4.5:1 for text, 3:1 for large text and UI. Never estimated from a screenshot.

Does it work in French?

Yes. It replies in your language, and client deliverables default to French for Quebec clients, with English when the product is bilingual. Personal data handling follows Quebec's Law 25.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Plans stop at the end of the billing period and every report you made stays yours.
